Lafayette, LA: Acadian Monitoring Services is releasing a “Spotlight of Services” iPad presentation to its dealers showcasing the technologies and services they can offer potential customers. Created in partnership with Puffingston—a presentation design firm in Chicago, IL—the iPad presentation demonstrates Acadian’s alarm, video and access control monitoring technologies and can be customized with a dealer’s information and logo for a small fee.

“More of our dealers are adopting the iPad as their go-to sales meeting tool,” notes Jason Caldwell, national sales consultant for AMS. “We believe it offers a better opportunity to demonstrate the security value proposition and wanted to ensure our dealers have a dynamic, professional presentation available for their client interactions.”

Available starting January 17, the AMS iPad presentation will be available with multiple customization options for dealers—from adding basic contact information to doing a complete private-labeling with their own “About Us” section.

“Our iPad platform is great for on-the-go sales consultants because it’s playable through a simple app and only requires a one-time download,” says Luke Goetting, business development at Puffingston. “Dealers can demonstrate their technology in a way that traditional meeting tools like flyers and brochures can’t.”

AMS is focusing on its security monitoring services for the initial iPad project but is considering creating versions for its fleet management and medical alert applications as well based on dealer feedback. Says Caldwell, “We’re always soliciting our dealers for useful tools and platforms we can partner with them on, but we definitely believe the iPad is the sales tool of the present and near future.”
