Description:

We’re a small presentation design firm specializing in the presentation platform Prezi. We’re looking to add a Jr. Art Director to lead our design team and help us create amazing Prezi presentations for our clients! Our ideal candidate has strong graphic design skills, design firm / agency experience, the ability to manage multiple projects and the ability to effectively manage and communicate visual strategies with our designers. Experience working with Prezi in a professional environment is ideal and a passion for turning boring slides into dynamic Prezis is a requirement!

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our designers to strategize concepts, visual strategies and imagery / iconography for presentation designs
• Join our account manager in client consultation meetings to get an understanding of the client’s project and visual strategies (mostly via webinar but occasionally in-person)
• Analyze client project resources and effectively communicate the context, objectives and design strategy to our designers
• Design Prezi presentations for clients
• Coordinate client project and edit requests with our account manager and assign responsibilities to the design team
• Coordinate with our creative director to develop design strategies, initiatives and policies to ensure consistent and quality presentation design throughout the design team
• Regularly lead meetings with design team to communicate any design directives and provide exposure to different presentations and design styles
• Manage project schedules and progress to ensure ontime delivery
• Occasionally work on non-presentation design projects including general graphic creation, web design and other content creation required by the company

Qualifications:

• Experience working with Prezi presentations, preferably in a professional environment
• Ability to think creatively and conceptually
• Ability to effectively strategize a presentation design based on client “script” and visual identify resources
• Strong graphic and typographic design skills
• 2 years of professional design experience, preferably in a firm / agency environment
• Experience managing design teams and projects
• Understanding of fundamental cinematography concepts
• Adobe Creative Cloud: Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects
• Microsoft Office Suite and Keynote
